Samsung gets green light to test autonomous cars in California

After receiving permission to test self-driving cars on roads in South Korea, Samsung has now received approval to do the same in California, TechCrunch reported, citing the website of the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Samsung joins a number of companies trialing autonomous cars on California roads, including Apple, Nvidia, GM and Baidu, among others.
