Samsung introduces dual-Sim Galaxy Star, Pocket Neo phones
Samsung announced two new entry-level Android smartphones aimed at emerging markets. The Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo are dual-Sim phones running Android 4.1 and the Samsung TouchWiz user interface. The company did not say when or where the phones will be released, but noted single-Sim versions will be available in some markets.

The Galaxy Star is a quad-band Edge/GPRS phone with a 1 GHz procesoor, 3-inch TFT LCD screen, 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, Wi-Fi, 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot. The Pocket Neo comes with the same features but adds HSPA access and a 850MHz processor. Both phones will feature a range of apps such as Samsung ChatOn and comes with Samsung's 'intelligent motion functions', such as shaking the device to scan for Wi-Fi and turning it over to mute the ringer.
