Samsung introduces Gear Fit wristband

Samsung Electronics has unveiled a third wearable device at Mobile World Congress, the Gear Fit, a curved wristband with touch display to manage fitness activities. The fitness band comes with a 1.84-inch curved Super Amoled display where users can keep track of incoming messages, calls and app alerts from a synced Samsung Galaxy smartphone. It also offers the functions Pedometer, Exercise, Heart Rate, Sleep, Stopwatch and Timer to manage exercise activities. Certified IP67 for resistance to dust and water, the Gear Fit includes Bluetooth 4.0 LE for connectivity and offers a 210 mAh battery.
