Samsung launches Galaxy J5, J7 in Kenya market

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones to Kenya at KES 21,000 and KES 27,000 respectively, to give consumers options in the mid-range price segment. Samsung East Africa IT and Mobile Division Business Leader Simon Kariithi said the phone screens have advanced resolution and an ultra-saving power mode aimed at minimising battery consumption. The J5 has a 5-inch screen and the J7 a 5.5-inch display. The devices are equipped with increased Octa-Core CPU capacity, and front and rear cameras.
