Samsung launches Knox in Netherlands

Friday 14 March 2014 | 09:54 CET | News
Samsung is launching its mobile device security security platform Knox in the Netherlands. The service allows business users and IT managers to separate personal and business applications and data on the phone. This includes policies to control access to certain data and remote access to lock or wipe the phone in the event it's lost or stolen.  Research by Samsung found that 40 percent of organisations are concerned about the security of personal devices used for business purposes. Concerns are highest in the finance sector, as well as in retail, transport and production sectors.
