Samsung leads smartphone markets everywhere, except China

Samsung took the largest share of smartphone sales in the US for the three months to end May, accounting for 37 percent of all devices sold, according to a study from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech. Apple came in second, making up 29 percent of smartphone sales. Looking at the Samsung and Apple flagship models revealed a closer race, with the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge accounting for 16 percent of sales, and the iPhone 6s/6s Plus for 14.6 percent.
