Samsung Pay arrives for public transport users in Ile the France region

Tuesday 24 November 2020 | 11:20 CET | News
Samsung has confirmed that its digital wallet is now available as a payment method on French mobile ticketing app ViaNavigo. This follows the partnership with public transport authority Ile-de-France Mobilites unveiled in September 2019, when the arrival of Samsung Pay on the app was expected by the end of last year. The app enables passengers to buy and validate m-tickets on the bus, tram and metro networks of different transport companies operating in the Paris area and surrounding region. It also enables holders of a Navigo smart card to recharge their pass.
