Samsung sells over 50 mln Galaxy S, SII devices
Samsung Electronics has sold over 50 million Galaxy S and Galaxy SII smartphones globally. The company sold 24 million Galaxy S smartphones and 28 million Galaxy SII smartphones, The Korea Herald writes. The company also said it sold over 7 million Galaxy Note devices.

Samsung sees 10 mln Galaxy S III sold by July

Samsung expects strong sales of the Galaxy S III to help its mobile phone profits surpass the record result reported in the first quarter. "We're getting far better feedback on the model overseas than what we experienced with the Galaxy S II," J.K. Shin, head of the company's mobile-phone business, said at a briefing in Seoul. Samsung has formed deals with UAE operators Du and Etisalat to offer its Galaxy S III handset at discounted rates, the National reported.
