Samsung Spain, Telefonica team up on IoT research

Telefonica I+D, the research and development arm of the Telefonica Group, has reached an agreement with the Spanish R&D division of Samsung Electronics Iberia to work together on new technologies and the development of use cases for the Internet of Things (IoT). The companies have begun developing two prototypes combining their technologies. The first integrates Telefonica's Thinking Things IoT consumer product with the capabilities of Samsung's devices and sensor technology in order to identify new products and services.  The second prototype involves the development of a physical button
