Samsung stepping up network drive to benefit from Huawei bans

Samsung is stepping up its network equipment business as it looks to gain from the security fears hampering China's Huawei, according to unnamed sources cited by Reuters. The efforts include moving high-performing managers and numerous employees to the network division from its handset unit and making a big push for the 5G equipment market in Europe to catch up with market leader Huawei, said the sources.
