Samsung to launch UHD TVs, Blu-ray player in March, April

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest smart TVs and the first Samsung Ultra HD Blu-ray player, all set for release in March and April. The Korean giant said its new range of SUHD TVs running Tizen OS deliver unprecedented picture quality thanks to their 'Quantum Dot' (QD) screen. Samsung claims that its new UBD-K8500 Ultra HD Blu-ray player delivers 64 times better colour quality than standard Blu-ray players. The UBD-K8500 uses conversion software to improve disks' picture quality.
