Samsung to unveil new Galaxy device on 03 May
Samsung has announced that it will unveil a new Galaxy device in London on 03 May, reports The Telegraph newspaper. However, the company declined to confirm whether the event related to a forthcoming phone or a range of new devices. Industry observers expect the event to at lease include the successor to the SII phone.

Samsung Q1 profits jump on strong smartphone sales

Samsung Electronics reported first-quarter results sharply higher, led by strong demand for its smartphones. The company's sales rose 22 percent year-on-year to KRW 45.27 trillion, and operating profit nearly doubled to KRW 5.85 trillion. Net profit improved 81 percent to KRW 5.05 trillion.
