Samsung to use Intel chip in Galaxy Tab 3 - report

Samsung will use Intel's Clover Trail+ microprocessor in at least one version of its Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, someone with knowledge of the situation told Reuters. So far Samsung has used only processors from ARM for its best-selling Android devices, but uses Intel processors in its ATIV in the smaller Windows tablet market. Two people told Reuters that Samsung will announce new ATIV tablets with Intel chips at a 20 June event in London. The move is a boost to Intel, which is trying to establish itself in mobile devices. Neither Samsung nor Intel would confirm the information.
