Sao Tome and Principe prepares digital TV action plan

Sao Tome and Principe plans to draw up an action plan to migrate TV and radio from analogue to digital, the General Authority for Telecommunications Regulation (AGER) said, reports Macauhub. "We are drawing up a plan of action, a strategy that will be submitted to the government so that we can make up for lost time," said AGER president Orlando Fernandes. He added that June 2015 was the deadline set by the ITU for the migration. Sao Tome and Principe will hire an international consultant to draw up the migration plan and to calculate the amount required for the transition, according to
