SAP to open German IoT start-up space

SAP plans to launch its IoT start-up accelerator Data Space in Berlin as of February 2017. Data Space will give start-ups working on IoT projects three to four months to market their ideas to SAP clients, with the assistance of SAP employees. Up to ten fledgling companies will be chosen for the initial phase. Among the first wave of projects are drones for site inspections, intelligent transport solutions and VR software, the company said in a statement.
