Saudi Arabia sees IT, emerging tech market worth USD 27 bln by 2025

Saudi Arabia's IT and emerging tech market is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10 percent, surpassing USD 27 billion by 2025, Saudi Press Agency reported citing Mohammed Altamimi, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC). Altamimi said Saudi Arabia's digital achievements are a result of the country's strategic focus on three key objectives: enhancing and protecting the core digital infrastructure, enabling the expansion of IT services software, and hardware and, most importantly, supporting the exploration of new emerging markets
