Schleswig Holstein keeps Facebook fanpage

The government of German state Schleswig-Holstein will not drop their fan page on Facebook. This was announced by the head of the state chancellor's office Arne Wulf to the state's data protection officer Thilo Weichtert, who demanded that the fan page would be ended before the end of October of this year, as part of his crusade against Facebook's privacy policies. The government claims that the fan page includes a clear privacy warning and sees no reason to stop using the social network for its communication with citizens.
