Schmidt calls for harmonised digital markets in Europe

Alphabet chairman Eric Schmidt said that Google was unlikely to make changes to its operations across Europe following the UK decision to leave the EU, Bloomberg reports. Speaking at a press conference in Paris, Schmidt said that it was hard for him to imagine Google making much of a change. However, he warned about putting up more barriers and called for a hamonisation of digital rules across the region.
