Sckipio welcomes investment from Intel

G.fast modems developer Sckipio Technologies said it has received investment from Intel. The two started working together since G.fast entered the market in 2012. No financial details were disclosed. Sckipio said it will use the money to accelerate innovations in the broadband access market. The Intel Capital investment is Sckipio's third round of funding. Previously, Sckipio raised USD 27 million from Amiti Ventures, Aviv Ventures, Genesis Partners, Gemini Israel Ventures and Pitango Venture Capital.
