Scottish govt sees new broadband contract signed by year-end

The Scotland government expects to award by September the contracts to cover the final 5 percent of premises lacking high-speed broadband. The so-called R100 contract tender has been delayed by appeals and further data collection, the responsible minister said, but the contract should be signed by the end of this year.
