Scottish govt unveils GBP 135 mln Inverness City Deal

The Scottish Government has announced a GBP 135 million City Deal investment for Inverness. Working in partnership with the Highland Council and the UK Government, the Scottish Government's investment brings the total City Deal funding for Inverness to GBP 315 million over 10 years. The UK Government will commit up to GBP 53 million and the Highland Council and regional partners will contribute GBP 127 million. Funding will be targeted towards improving the regions transport and digital connectivity networks. The partners aim to identify and explore ways to extend digital coverage, including
