Seacom gets peering link at Netnod IXP in Stockholm

Cable firm Seacom is the first African carrier to peer at the Netnod Internet exchange point in Stockholm, which should improve user service for northern and eastern European communities in Africa. It said the peering link will ensure that African internet users on the Seacom backbone get better performance when they access websites and services via Netnod. Seacom said the Netnod exchange has among the highest amount of traffic per peer in Europe and is IPv6-enabled.
