Semiconductor industry wants 'essential business' designation during Covid-19 restrictions

The semiconductor industry wants to be spared from some of the restrictions on business during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ten industry associations, representing hundreds of semiconductor and semiconductor supply chain companies, issued a statement calling on nations to prioritize semiconductor operations as they craft public health measures to battle the virus outbreak.
