Senegal regulator warns operators over quality of service failings

Thursday 2 July 2020 | 13:59 CET | News
Senegal's regulator ARTP issued formal warnings to the country's three main telecom operators over their failure to meet quality of service (QoS) standards. The conclusion was based on QoS indicators gathered by the regulator, which revealed disruptions affecting end users. Sonatel and Saga Africa Holdings, which use the brands of Orange and Free respectively, have been given 30 days to make amends. A similar warning was issued to network operator Expresso, which was requested to comply with its QoS obligations or face sanctions.
