Serbian government signs MoU with Huawei for smart cities project

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei in Beijing for the Smart Cities project. The government said Huawei will become a strategic partner of the Government of Serbia for the development of the Smart Cities strategy in Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad and other local authorities. The Smart Cities project will introduce various services to benefit the public, such as smart public lighting systems, garbage collection, traffic signaling or public parking management.
