Satellite operator SES reported falls in first-quarter EBITDA and profit, hurt by ongoing weakness at its core Video business. The company said that performance was in the line with expectations, maintaining unchanged the outlook for the full year. Net profit declined to EUR 72.2 million in the quarter, down from EUR 98.2 million in the year earlier period. This contraction was mainly driven by a 4.7 percent drop in EBITDA, which fell to EUR 290 million, as well as higher depreciation and amortisation changes.
