SES rebases div lower and continues restructuring after lower Q4

Friday 23 February 2018 | 13:23 CET | News
Satellite operator SES reported lower revenues and profit for the fourth quarter, hit by a market remained challenging in 2017, compounded by some fleet health issues. The company has also launched a "Fit-for-Growth" programme to increase efficiencies in the allocation of resources. As a result, it has rebased its dividend to a lower level of EUR 0.80 per share, down 40 percent from the year before. The company said the move will strengthen its balance sheet, support growth opportunities and enable a progressive dividend in the future.
