Setar selects Nokia to roll out Aruba 5G network

Nokia has secured its first end-to-end 5G deal in Latin America after it was contracted by Aruba's Setar to upgrade the incumbent operator's existing 4.5G Pro network throughout the Caribbean island. The agreement will see Nokia update RAN access and modernise elements of the core and data management systems to allow the creation of new services for the island's 110,000 inhabitants and 2 million annual visitors.
