SFR demonstrates m-payment systems in Paris

SFR is demonstrating m-payment technologies at the SFR Player event at its SFR Apartment ('Appart SFR') venue in Paris until 2 December. A corner of the venue is dedicated to the SFR Pay m-payment system, m-parking, vending machine, SMS-based in-store payment, and Banque de France's Buyster secure internet and mobile payment system. SFR plans to launch several m-transaction services in 2012. Some 3.3 million French smartphone users have made an m-commerce transaction. The country's m-commerce market is projected to be worth EUR 13 billion in 2015, versus EUR 500 million in 2010, according to
