SFR increases premium STB rental to EUR 7 per month, offers 2 Gbps download speed

Wednesday 12 February 2020 | 10:57 CET | News
French operator SFR has boosted the fibre download speed available to customers opting for its premium equipment, combining the SFR Box 8 set-top box (STB) and router. The household will now benefit from a 2 Gbps connection, capped at 1 Gbps per connected device, and the maximum upload speed has increased from 400 Mbps to 500 Mbps. Coinciding with this change, the monthly rental has risen to EUR 7 per month, up by EUR 2 from the EUR 5 monthly rental price announced when SFR 8 was launched on 20 August 2019.
