SFR rejoins French industry association InfraNum

Tuesday 6 November 2018 | 13:38 CET | News
Altice France announced that its SFR subsidiary is again a member of the French association that represents the interests of companies working on public initiative fibre networks. Previously called FIRIP, the association rebranded in June as InfraNum, short for 'Infrastructure Numerique' (Digital Infrastructure). The new name reflects its larger scope, which over time has widened to include action on smart territories nationwide, from the original focus on rural public initiative networks (known as RIP, 'Reseaux d'Initiative Publique').
