SFR Sport has secured exclusive rights to broadcast the Portuguese football championship, reports Le Figaro, following an agreement signed by SFR's parent Altice via its subsidiary Portugal Telecom. The exclusive rights, previously held by beIN Sports, will be broadcast on the SFR Sport 1 and 2 channels from mid-August, when SFR Sport will also be showing matches from the UK Premier League. Confirming the news, SFR indicated that Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg will also benefit from the exclusive distribution rights, in addition to France.
