SFR starts replacing hard drive with cloud recording for new TV customers

SFR has discreetly introduced a new cloud recording service for new TV customers, compatible with its 4K set-top box and two other of its STB models. This facility replaces the hard drive previously integrated in the equipment, with the cloud storage ranging from 8 to 100 hours depending on the TV package. According to the SFR website, the new service is not yet available for any of Canal Plus' TV channels.
