Sharjah Media City signs MoU with digital distribution firms in response to rise of OTT

The UAE's Sharjah Media City (Shams) said it has tied up with Zoo Digital, a provider of subtitling and digital distribution services for the entertainment industry, and with Olive Digital, to supply localisation and digital distribution services to the UAE and MENA. Their MoU builds on a three-year relationship among the three parties, wherein Shams will serve as a hub for Olive Digital's New York office and Zoo Digital, said Khalid Al Midfa, chairman of Shams.
