Sharp set to release Aquos 4k Next TVs with Espial software

Digital TV and IPTV software company Espial announced that Sharp will start shipping its newest lineup of Aquos 4k Next (8k resolution) Ultra HD LCD TVs, incorporating Espial's HTML5 client software in July in Japan. With Espial's client, Sharp has created an immersive viewing experience which blends advanced TV functionality with OTT video services and internet applications, including the new Hybridcast system, the new YouTube 2015 HTML5 app, Hulu, NTT Hikari TV 4K HEVC VoD service, and 4K web browser. Hybridcast is a new system defined by the IPTV Forum which combines the best of broadcast
