Shaw grows Q2 sales 2%, EBITDA up 6%

Canadian operator Shaw Communications reported revenues for the fiscal second quarter to February up 1.8 percent to CAD 1.39 billion, as expansion in its mobile business helped offset the contraction in wireline subscribers. Adjusted EBITDA rose 6.2 percent year-on-year to CAD 637 million, and net profit was up 29.9 percent to CAD 217 million.
