Shentel buys CBRS spectrum ahead of FWA service launch

US operator Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) announced it has won 262 licences in 74 counties in the FCC's recently completed auction of CBRS spectrum. The company spent a total of USD 16 million on the licences to help support its rural broadband coverage. It will launch the first fixed-wireless broadband services later this month.
