Shoprite opens mobile money service to businesses

South African retail chain Shoprite aId that businesses can now send money to several recipients through its Shoprite Money service, reports BusinessTech. Shoprite Money is a mobile transactional banking service available to anyone, even those without bank accounts. It acts as a mobile wallet and enables customers to deposit, withdraw or send money as well as buy groceries at any till point in Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper and Usave stores.
