Showrooming to impact festive sales in 2015 - EE

The practise of 'showrooming' could have a major impact on Christmas shopping behaviour in 2015, according to new research from EE. The research shows that 41 percent of Brits, equal to around 22 million shoppers, regularly 'showroom' by using their mobile devices to check for better prices while in-store. It also found that three quarters (74%) of shoppers prefer to browse online rather than in retailers' physical shops. To help retailers exploit this growing trend for 'showrooming', EE has expanded its range of Public WiFi products with the launch of a new plug-and-play product called 4G
