Sigfox, Airbus back Toulouse's French Tech city bid

French low-bandwidth, low-cost IoT service pioneer Sigfox is now deploying a network in Silicon Valley, California, reports La Tribune. Sigfox's home town of Toulouse. The government's French Tech initiative has made it possible for TIC Valley. Sigfox's flagship product, a vehicle fleet management solution, using connected objects, is going international. The digital expertise in Toulouse is driven by aerospace group Airbus and formerly by electronic companies like Freescale and Motorola. Airbus will launch an accelerator in October.
