Sigfox becomes member of ITU

Sigfox has announced that it has become a member of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), with the aim to influence a cohesive set of international standards for IoT technologies and applications. Sigfox will contribute to ITU's ongoing standardisation work, which includes the ITU-T Study Group 20, currently focusing on IoT applications in smart cities and communities (SC&C), and the recently created group on smart city data management.
