Sigfox wants to raise USD 200-300 mln, cover the whole world

Sigfox CEO Ludovic Le Moan is mulling a Nasdaq listing as the French IoT network provider looks to raise at least USD 200 million in financing, Bloomberg reported. After raising USD 115 million in February from investors including Telefonica and NTT Docomo, the Toulouse-based start-up wants USD 200-300 million more by next year to expand its grid for cars, fridges and home-security systems. An initial public offering in the US by mid-2017 could be part of funding plans, Le Moan said in an interview near Paris. The CEO wants Sigfox to have global coverage and lead in the Internet of Things
