Siminn plans to bring in XG-Fast at 5-10 Gbps

Icelandic operator Siminn said it will shortly be launching G.Fast technology to provide internet services at up to 1 Gbps over copper lines. The next standard will be XG-Fast, and is set to run at 5-10 Gbps, according to Kristinn Ingi Asgeirsson, director of Mila access systems.
