Singapore offers free digital STBs ahead of analogue switch-off at year-end

Singapore announced a programme to offer free digital set-top boxes to prepare households without pay-TV for the end of analogue broadcasting at the end of 2018. The Infocomm Media Development Authority said the DTV Starter Kit will allow eligible households to acquire an indoor antenna and digital set-top box free (including free delivery and installation), or receive SGD 100 off selected DTV equipment at participating electronics stores.
