Singles less likely to own tablets

Over two-thirds of Dutch households have tablets, but this falls to 54 percent of single-person households, according to the latest edition of TP:Basics. Over four in ten (43%) households had at least one tablet in the first quarter and a quarter had at least two, giving a total penetration of 68 percent of households with tablets, up from 63 percent a year ago. Among singles, the tablet penetration increased from 48 percent to 54 percent over the past year. Single parent households were also less likely to have tablets, at 63 percent, as were households made of up unrelated peers, at 57
