SingTel kicks off deployment of 300 Mbps 4G services
Singapore operator SingTel expects to provide nationwide coverage of its 300 Mbps 4G service by the end of 2015. The operator said that the first live site at Singapore Expo is now ready for service.  By the end of the year, more than half of the island will be covered, including areas such as Changi Airport and popular shopping malls. The first compatible device, the Huawei E5786 MiFi dongle, will be available from SingTel in mid-July. Smartphones and tablets are expected to be commercially available soon after.

Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) has unveiled 4G ClearVoice, together with Samsung and Ericsson. SingTel said launch will mark the world's first commercial full-featured Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service and the only VoLTE service globally to provide a full suite of telephony features such as call waiting and forwarding on the 4G network. SingTel's Singapore consumer revenue up 4.7% in Q1

Singapore Telecommunications' (SingTel's) Singapore Consumer business generated operating revenues of SGD 565 million in the first quarter, up 4.7 percent year-on-year. In the quarter, the company experienced robust growth from mio TV, mobile communications and equipment sales revenue, offsetting the decline in other services. Singapore Consumer's EBITDA reached SGD 200 million in the quarter, an increase of 13.1 percent compared with the same period in 2013.

Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) reported net profit for its fiscal fourth quarter up 3.5 percent year-on-year to SGD 898 million.
