SingTel launches EZ-Link NFC payment service
SingTel has introduced a mobile payment service for smartphones using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology with EZ-Link. EZ-Link also introduced an EZ-Link NFC mobile application and the EZ-Link NFC website at the same time. The payment service allows users to make contactless payments at over 20,000 points island-wide that accept ez-link payments. The service is available for customers who have a supported NFC smartphone and purchase an NFC Sim card from SingTel but there are no additional monthly subscription charges or activation charges for the service. The EZ-Link mobile application can be downloaded from the Google Play store for use on NFC-enabled Android mobile handsets. The app allows customers to check transaction history and balances, top-up the ez-link purse, and more. Mobile operator M1 has also launched an NFC payments service with EZ-Link.

M1 launches NFC payment services

Singaporean mobile operator M1 has launched two new Near Field Communications (NFC) services: M1 NFC Prepaid MasterCard and EZ-link Cepas, in collaboration with MasterCard and EZ-link. StarHub unveils SmartWallet app

Singaporean communications provider StarHub has unveiled its NFC "SmartWallet" app, which will be commercially available later this month.
