SingTel, Optus ink credit deals with international banks

Singapore Telecommunications' (SingTel) subsidiaries entered into agreements for total credit facilities of nearly  SGD 3.5 billion for general corporate purposes and refinancing of existing facilities. In Singapore, SingTel Group Treasury, a subsidiary of SingTel, signed the agreement for a three-year, SGD 2.1 billion credit facility with twelve banks while in Australia, Optus Finance, a subsidiary of SingTel Optus, signed a three-year, AUD 1.2 billion facility agreement with eleven banks.
