SK Broadband to invest KRW 5 trillion by 2021

SK Broadband, a unit of South Korean operator SK Telecom SK Telecom, plans to invest KRW 5 trillion in the next five years to expand its subscriber base and boost sales, The Korea Times reports, citing SK Broadband CEO Lee Hyung-hee. "We have set our sights on reaching 27 million subscribers and 4.5 trillion won in sales by 2021", the CEO said in a press conference in Seoul. The investment will focus on technology upgrade and infrastructure deployment.
