SK Telecom, Samsung launch 3-band LTE-A marketing campaign

SK Telecom and Samsung have jointly launched a marketing campaign for tri-band long term evolution advanced (LTE-A) services, The Korea Times reports. The tri-band LTE-A service provides speeds of up to 300 Mbps. SK Telecom will offer the LTE-A specialized service pack dubbed 'band LTE' to customers who acquire a Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE device. SKT plans to offer subsidies of up to KRW 300,000 for customers who purchase the Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE. Users who acquire the Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE will be offered the Band LTE Pack, which includes a 100 GB T Cloud service voucher and 1GB of data
